All profiles begin with a need or idea. As the ideas become a drawing, they are checked for feasibility and function, and all dimensions are noted with special attention given to critical areas. Die design is determined from this drawing and forwarded to the machine shop. The die is then balanced on an extruder and sample extruded parts are sent to the customer for approval. Production run consistency is assured by master control file.

Administration is full service with timely quotations, computerized order entry/invoicing, accurate record tracking to assure your instructions are followed, and close personal customer contact to answer your questions.

Engineering is an extension of your staff. Our staff offers design suggestions on such items as profile, wall thickness, corner radii, and tolerances to provide functional extrusions in relation to your end use. The end use of your part determines whether the extrusion is rigid, flexible, or co-extruded.

Dies & Tooling are crafted in Profile's own machine shop. Profile is a full service operation assuring you of single source responsibility with a trained staff to provide timely deliveries and for those unforeseen emergencies. Our complete Die and Tool Shop allows us to set up and change over quickly. Here at Profile Plastics, we can fabricate any part for our manufacturing equipment and can create the vital components needed to create custom extrusions to precise specifications.

Dual Cross Head & Co-extrusions - Designers and engineers are turning to co-extruded parts with increasing regularity. By carefully reviewing the application, the available materials and the engineering specifications, we are able to create Dual Cross Head & Co-extrusions to exacting standards. Master control files are maintained on every profile, an ongoing permanent record containing: original prints, approved sample, mating parts, color ship, setup sheets, gauges, and any other information pertinent to the job.
